hello readers! today i want to share with u guys what is type of website. last week i have learned various of website in science computer class. From my knowledge, website is a collection of related web pages and associated items. from my reseacrh from wiki A website[1] is a collection of related web pages, including multimedia content, typically identified with a common domain name, and published on at least one web server. A website may be accessible via a public Internet Protocol (IP) network, such as the Internet, or a private local area network (LAN), by referencing a uniform resource locator (URL) that identifies the site.
Websites have many functions and can be used in various fashions; a website can be a personal website, a commercial website for a company, a government website or a non-profit organization website. Websites can be the work of an individual, a business or other organization, and are typically dedicated to a particular topic or purpose, ranging from entertainment and social networking to providing news and education. All publicly accessible websites collectively constitute the World Wide Web, while private websites, such as a company's website for its employees, are typically a part of an intranet. let me show one by one types of website and its example.



portal

define of portal is a web sites that offers variety of internet services from single, convenient location. 
portal also have offer these free services : 
  •  search engine


  • news 


  • sports and weather

  • web publishing

  • reference tools ( such as yellow, maps, shopping, and e-mail and other communication services)





Blog 

define blog is an informal web site consisting of time-stamped articles, or posts in a diary or journal format, usually listed in reverse chronological order.

 blog is a short weblog that reflects the interest, opinions and personalities of the author and sometimes site the visitors.

 TERM USE IN BLOG

 vlog(video blog) : contain video clips (people usually use youtube)



microblog : allows user publish short 
messages

blogosphere : worldwiede collection of blog
vlogosphere : all vlogs worldwide




blogger : blog author
malaysian famous blogger is adilla idris who is recording artist and certified fitness instructor
